A.L. Nairne is a Canadian author of historical time-travel romance filled with broody Highlanders, strong modern women, ancient curses, and just enough danger to make falling in love a terrible idea. She is the author of the Gem Bound Legacy series, beginning with A Curse Written in Garnet and A Fate Etched in Amethyst. When she isn’t sending unsuspecting women back to 16th-century Scotland, she can usually be found reading, writing, raising three kids, or plotting her next fictional disaster from her home in Canada She firmly believes a good romance should have tension, banter, adventure—and at least one man in a kilt.
