How to add bonus content to your pages

Why bonus content turns fans into superfans

Extra content on your Quilltips pages gives readers a reason to stay, come back, and share. A thank-you video, a letter from you, or a playlist that matches the book's vibe makes the experience feel personal. That kind of delight is what turns casual readers into superfans who recommend your work and support you long-term.

Types of bonus content you can add

  • Videos — Thank-you messages, trailers, readings, or behind-the-scenes. You can upload files or add YouTube links. The first video is the primary one readers see.
  • Letter to readers — A personal note that appears on your book page. Great for setting the tone and connecting one-to-one.
  • Book art — Character art, illustrations, or other images in a gallery. Upload or add by URL.
  • Playlist — Embed a Spotify playlist, album, or show so readers can listen while they explore. Perfect for mood or inspiration.
  • Book recommendations (Bookshelf) — Recommend other books to your readers. Search Quilltips for titles and add them to a list on your book page.

Where to add bonus content

Bonus content is configured in two places, depending on where you want it to appear:

  • Book settings — Open your book from the Books section of the dashboard, then scroll to "Add Content To Your Book Page." Use the tiles (Videos, Book Art, Playlist, Book Recommendations) to open each section. Add or edit content, then Save. Videos, letter to readers, book art, playlist, and recommendations all live on the individual book page.
  • Author profile settings — Go to Author profile in the sidebar. Your profile page can include its own sections (e.g. playlist, events, countdown). Enable signup forms in the Signup Forms section (ARC/Beta questions are configured on the Signups tab); use Add Content–style options there if you want bonus content on your profile as well.

In book settings, click a content tile to expand it. Add your links or uploads, customize any descriptions, and save. Changes appear on your live book page right away — including upcoming (pre-sale) titles. ARC and Beta questions are not bonus tiles; configure those on Signups (ARC & Beta).
