J. E. Harter is a lover of music, theatre, beaches, cats, and books (obviously). The Butcher and the Bard was her debut novel, and has since penned five books in the Dark Magic Universe. She lives in NYC with two fluffy children: Simon Catfunkel and Ziggy Starcat. When not authoring, she is (hopefully) inspiring young performers as a theatre teacher & director. J. E. is also a proud co-founder of the indie author community, the Fantasy Author Legion.
