Readers of Maine Short Stories, Thank you being here. I appreciate all my loyal readers. My short stories are Catholic and Christian friendly and feature an ensemble of interesting characters. My novelette storytelling style produces a “slice-of-Maine rural and seacoast” dialogue with humor, satire, moral lessons, that will produce belly laughs, tears, and lots of head scratching moments. Most of all, my stories have lots of heart. I was born in Skowhegan [only place in America with that name — go ahead look it up — he’ll wait] … and raised in the mill town of Madison. I have visited 36 out of 50 U. S. states, obtained four college degrees, held positions in public education, state government (which he escaped from with only minor injuries), and enjoyed thirty years as a medical provider. When not writing memoirs, westerns, detective crime mysteries, and science fiction thrillers I can be located on my boat with a fishing pole in my hand, deep in thought, waiting for his next “story idea or a big bass.” Be sure and watch my Facebook page and this site for releases of new short stories and future books. I enjoy interacting. with my readers and writers. Please feel free to contact here by email. Warm regards, Dana
