Matthew Friedman has worked in public education for more than 25 years. He is the Superintendent (head of schools) of the Quakertown Community School District in Pennsylvania. During his 19 years in the district, he has served in several leadership roles and has helped improve education and support student success. I’m passionate about public education, student success, and strong school leadership. I believe that effective schools are built through collaboration, thoughtful leadership, supportive learning environments, and a shared commitment to helping every student reach their potential. Throughout my career in education, I have focused on strengthening school communities, supporting educators, encouraging innovation, and creating meaningful opportunities for students to learn and grow. I’m especially passionate about working with teachers, families, administrators, and community partners to address challenges, improve educational outcomes, and build schools where students feel supported, valued, and prepared for their future.
