Dear Readers,

I've always loved stories that make you forget you're reading.

The kind where you mean to read one more chapter and suddenly it's midnight. Where the characters start to feel like people you know. Where the magic feels real enough that, for a few hours, you almost believe you could step through the page itself.

Those are the stories I want to write.

I write romantic fantasy because I want it all---impossible magic, dangerous journeys, characters who make terrible decisions for very good reasons, slow-burn tension, devastating reveals, and, of course, romance that makes you yell at the page for them to just kiss already.

But more than anything, I want my books to make you feel.

I want you to root for characters who surprise you. I want you to fall a little too hard for the love interest and stay up later than you should because you absolutely have to know what happens next. And I want you to close the book wishing you could go back and experience it all again for the first time.

I'm still at the beginning of my writing journey. Song of the Sickle is not the first book I've written, but it's the first story I'm determined to put into the world one way or another. I'm currently querying literary agents in the hope that someday soon, it will find its way into your hands.

So if you love stories filled with magic, danger, impossible choices, and a little too much romantic tension, I hope you'll stick around.
