I'm a self-published writer who loves Christian romance stories. I was raised just outside Pittsburgh and spent several years traveling the world with my husband while teaching English in Jakarta and Seoul. These days, we're back in the United States, raising our daughter and exploring all the wonderful places our local area has to offer. My first novel, When We Were Kids, was published in 2025, and I'm thrilled that the next installment in the series is coming soon!

Hello, fellow lovers of all things sweet and romantic! If you had told a younger version of me that one day readers would be connecting with my stories, she never would have believed you. Writing was always my favorite hobby, something I did simply because I loved it. Whether I was scribbling ideas during study hall, writing while waiting for the bus, or staying up late at home because a new story had taken root in my imagination, writing was my happy place. Back then, I wrote for myself. I never imagined that the stories and characters living in my head would one day resonate with readers, make them laugh, cry, swoon, or feel as though they had made a few fictional friends along the way. For that, I am endlessly grateful. Thank you for taking a chance on my stories. Thank you for your kind messages, reviews, and words of encouragement. Thank you for choosing to spend your time with the characters and worlds I create. And thank you for making this lifelong dream feel more real than I ever thought possible. Every page turned, every review left, and every recommendation shared means more to me than I can adequately express. Your support allows me to keep doing what I love, and I am so honored to have you along for the journey. With gratitude, Paige Ealy ❤️

When We Were Kids - Prologue

Prologue September 2016 “Drop the purse,” he barked. Time fractured. His voice reached her ears like it traveled underwater. Fear settled in. “I said, drop it!” He shoved her hard, her small frame no match for his force. Pavement tore at her palms like razors. Tears blurred her vision. Shaking, she slid the purse off her shoulder and tossed it beside him. She tasted something bitter and vile. Her throat burned as she swallowed. Click. Her eyes snapped open. The barrel of the gun pointed straight at her. Her breath caught. God… help me. Stop him. Please.
