Rachel Conlin-McLeod is the author of over forty works of fiction across a variety of genres from vampire fiction, horror, fantasy, science fiction, historical fiction, and teen and young adult fiction. Her writing career began on October 31st, 2002 and her first published debut was with "Dancing with the Moon", published in April of 2003. Since "Dancing with the Moon" and her "Dragon's Tear Chronicle" of vampire fiction, she has branched into genre-blending works blending horror with coming-of-age stories, drama, and historical fiction. Her most notable works include, "While the Wolves Cry", the 2007 sequel to "Dancing with the Moon", which ranked #39 in Best Reads of 2007 by MyShelf.com reader polls and garnered Rachel attention as one of the most under-rated horror authors of 2007. Other notable works include, "Running from the Sun", her historical fiction novel depicting the life of a teenaged Nisei girl and her family through the Japanese American internment during World War II. She is also known for her "Six Fellows Saga" of fantasy fiction with "Frostbite", "Witches of Aether", and "Storms of Two Hearts". Rachel lives in North Windham, CT. with her wife.
