Cassidy Greene Hollifield writes stories for anyone who’s ever wondered how their past shapes who they’re becoming, and who they might be next. By day, she’s an elementary school counselor and full-time champion for kids. By night (and during any quiet moment she can steal), she’s dreaming up mysteries and coming-of-age stories filled with layered characters and unexpected truths. Cassidy earned both her psychology and master’s degrees from Appalachian State University, where she coauthored a research article as her first publication. She lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina with her high school sweetheart and their young daughter, who is already keeping life interesting. When she’s not writing, you can find Cassidy experimenting in the kitchen, creating elaborate games for friends, planning the perfect themed party, or convincing everyone around her to take “just one more” personality assessment.
