How to share your Quilltips pages
Your Quilltips page as the central hub
Each book and your author profile has a unique Quilltips URL. With links and QR codes, you can make that page the go-to place for readers — for a single book or your whole presence. Put the link in your bio, in your newsletter, on your website, or anywhere you already connect with readers. Put the QR code in the back of your book, on flyers, or on table tents at events. One link or scan leads readers to everything you’ve set up: bonus content, signups, tips, and Quilltips Shop. The same link and QR code work for an upcoming (pre-sale) book page.
Where to find your links and QR codes
In the dashboard, every page that can be shared has a Sharing section:
- Book page — Open the book from Books, then scroll to the Sharing section. You’ll see the book page URL and a QR code preview. Copy the link to share anywhere; use the QR code for print or in-person.
- Author profile — Go to Author profile and find the Sharing section. Your profile URL and QR code are there for your overall author page.
Customizing your QR code message
Each QR code can show a short call-to-action message (e.g. "Love this book? Check out the Quilltips page for more!" or "Scan for bonus content."). In the same Sharing section where you see the QR preview, use the QR code call-to-action dropdown to choose or customize the message. That text appears on the branded QR card so readers know what they’re scanning for.
Use your own domain name
Already own a domain like yourname.com? You can forward it to your Quilltips profile at your domain provider — nothing to set up in Quilltips. See Use your own domain name for step-by-step instructions.
Downloading your QR code
Use the Download QR Code button in the Sharing section. You can download as:
- PNG — A branded card with the Quilltips logo and your call-to-action text. Best for digital use and most print jobs.
- SVG — A simple, scalable QR code. Ideal for professional print or when you need to resize without losing quality.
Add the QR code to the back of your book, event handouts, or social graphics so readers can jump straight to your Quilltips page from anywhere.
