Book one of a trilogy spanning multiple timelines, recurring histories, politics, friendship and of course magic.
In the time before:
A message has been sent out and the Council of the Races has been called.
Nobody alive remembers how long it has been since The Great Dragons called the last one, and this could be the most important one yet.
But when a Dragon calls, one must answer.
From the City of Riverock, Krain Jani and his Fools set out to represent their race in a decision that will change the world forever. A meeting at the Valley of the Stars set to take place at the next moon. But with each race playing its own game, it is hard to tell who will come out the winner.
Meanwhile now:
A different time, and a different place, Shawnesh Izarabba finds himself receiving a visit from an old friend, with a message from home.
30 years of self-exile are about to come to an end whether he likes it or not, and Shawn needs to return home for reasons that remain a mystery to him.
Two separate times, two separate worlds, but both joined by shared history and shared connections. In the end perhaps they are not so far apart after all.

I grew up in central Canada and have lived here my whole life. I began this writing journey about two years ago and have decided to pursue it with a dedication that has surprised me. I always dreamed of having a book on my self, that had my name on it, but was always too scared to really attempt it. However as life has slowed down for me, and circumstances have allowed the time, I am finally beginning to be able to realize that dream. It has been a learning adventure that teaches me something new every day, both about my work, and myself. Even though it is easily the most challenging thing I have ever done, I would not change this experience for anything.
