About To Make the World a Better Place: POEMS OF HOPE AND HEALING

To Make the World a Better Place is a thoughtful collection of poetry about the extraordinary possibilities found within ordinary moments. Through reflections on love, creativity, nature, community, faith, aging, recovery, and the passage of time, Matthew C. Organized into seven sections—Prelude; Creativity and Awareness; Love, Community and Peace; Day’s Journey; Seasons; Purpose; and Epilogue—the collection follows a journey inward and outward: from discovering the voice within, to recognizing our connections with others, to considering what each of us can contribute to the world. These poems encourage readers to embrace life with greater attention and gratitude, to find beauty even amid uncertainty, and to approach others with compassion and lovingkindness. They reflect a recurring conviction that meaningful change begins with awareness, continues through thoughtful action, and grows through our connections with one another. To Make the World a Better Place is an invitation to pause, listen, awaken, and participate, to recognize the gift of life and consider what each of us can do to leave the world a little better than we found it. For readers who appreciate reflective poetry, spiritual contemplation, nature writing, and poetry that explores human connection and the search for meaning, this collection offe
