This was my very first novel. It took ten years to write and it's only about 150 pages. Why? I wrote it after changing careers, working several part-time jobs, and obsessing over supporting my family. The end alone took a year to write. Anyway, it's a short read about a guy loosely based on me with a sublimated anger problem. Give it a try, then read the other two in the series.

Tom Kranz is a writer and podcaster. He is a native of Philadelphia, where he attended Temple University and earned a bachelor’s degree in communications. His career as a journalist took him to radio, television, and online platforms, followed by twelve years as a corporate communications director. He also served as a volunteer EMT for 22 years in his New Jersey town.
