I Murdered My Best Friend is a dark psychological thriller with supernatural and dark romance elements centered on Thea Gray, a high school senior whose life unravels after her best friend is murdered. While she struggles with overwhelming grief, paranoia, and guilt, unsettling events convince her that someone has been stalking her for years. Her lifelong best friend, Dominic "Dom", becomes increasingly possessive and controlling as he insists he's only trying to protect her. At the same time, Gio, an enigmatic outsider, enters her life. Though unsettling at first, Gio gradually becomes someone Thea begins to trust, even as his behavior raises impossible questions. Unknown to Thea, both Dom and Gio are demons with opposing missions. Dom was originally sent to kill her as a child but instead fell in love with her, choosing to protect her at the cost of betraying his own kind. Gio was sent later to eliminate Dom but ultimately becomes Thea's reluctant guardian as he witnesses the depth of Dom's dangerous obsession. As secrets surface, Thea discovers that nearly everyone she trusts has been lying to her. The stalker she's been fearing isn't the only monster in the shadows, and the supernatural war surrounding her has been unfolding since before she can remember. Caught between obsession disguised as love and protection born from sacrifice, Thea must decide whom she can trust before Dom's desperation and the darkness consuming him destroy them all. On January 1, 2027, I will finally be sharing a novel that has lived in my mind, my heart, and my shadows for far longer than I ever expected. Even after writing the final chapter, these characters have never truly left me. I still think about them daily. I still replay their choices, their mistakes, their love, their betrayal, and the devastating consequences that followed.

This is a story about obsession and loyalty. About the fine line between love and destruction. About the secrets we keep, the people we would do anything for, and the darkness that can grow inside even the most beautiful relationships.

Writing this book challenged me in ways I never anticipated. It broke my heart more than once. It haunted me long after I set down the pen. And perhaps that’s why it means so much to me.

My greatest hope is that when you turn the final page, these characters refuse to leave you too.

I hope you find yourself thinking about them days later.

I hope certain scenes replay in your mind when you’re trying to fall asleep.

I hope you question what you would have done in their place.

Most of all, I hope this story stays with you the way it has stayed with me.
